Neon reflections shimmer across wet asphalt outside the terminal window, the midnight coffee is dark and bitter, and the translation pipeline is running at full throttle: We have officially crossed the 60% mark on the English edition of Meridas 5!
As of today, 38 out of 62 chapters of „Meridas 5 – Volume 1: A Noir Thriller“ are fully translated, line-edited, and matched against the German source manuscript.
Passing chapter 38 means we are deep into the second half of this 568-page cyberpunk noir monolith. The narrative screws are tightening, David Dean’s investigation is plunging into the city’s darkest corporate sectors, and the English prose carries every bit of the gritty, hard-boiled punch it was meant to deliver.
